Project Overview:

The objective of this project is the development of a game with hack and slash elements, souls like combat, rpg game. all this with an art direction focused on biopunk elements and the concept of bioluminescence using neon lights.
The use of Ureal Engine gives me the precise graphic level for The Dark Side, its lighting and reflection system makes the use of neon lights very attractive. Also the use of its particle system and Niagara effects allows me to make both the environment and the combat look with a unique beauty. In addition to being an engine that allows you to optimize models, lighting and environments.
With blender I modified the models such as: main character, enemies, vegetation environment, animations and armor.

Project objectives:
  • 1. Develop a game with 5 main melee weapons, 5 ranged weapons and 10 different skills.
  • 2. Create 3 bosses with unique abilities and mechanics.
  • 3. Design and build 3 levels with different environments and challenges.
  • 4. Design up to 10 unique enemies, each with their own behavior and combat style.
  • 5. Create up to 10 destructible objects with drop upgrades.
  • 6. Prepare a demo of the game for release on Steam.
